Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a one and a half fingers of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: slow rolling semi-sweet and roasted nuts; caramel/toffee maltiness; and the chocolate rye
Flavor: rich and roasty, nutty and a touch of floral spice from the chocolate rye, then a sly aftertaste of nuttiness, toast and subtle caramel/toffee
Texture: light to medium bodied; some sessionability about it; lingering finish of the chocolate rye and nutty crisp tones
Overall: a very nicely down brown ale that I would love to come back to.
