Born from clever science and a touch of dark sorcery, Lab Rat emerges from the test bench with a tart, zesty twist on the classic key lime pie. A juicy sessionable sour with notes of sweet limes and an irresistible biscuit base, brewed to perfection.

44cl can from Cantina della Birra, Riccione, Italy. Pours opaque amber, with limited foam. Aroma recalls indeed some American pies and their glazing, vanilla. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is delicate sour, with some sweetness too. Final is

Can. Bier Huis Ossett. Birthday gift from the missus. Contains Kiwi apparently, which I’m allergic to, so this was just a taster. Good job I read the label. Hazed slightly mucky gold. Decent lasting white foam. Nose is indeed like a key lime pie. Taste is sweet and semi tart. Nice gentle pucker. Good body. Light tart finish. Nice.
