Can to tulip.
Appearance: black in color, one finger khaki head which dissipated finely to leave some spotty lace
Aroma: deep piney hops - very resinous, citrusy hop character then dark roasted malts, very nice coffee sweet tones and a deep earthy tone
Flavor: fully bittersweet with dark coffee roastiness, dark toast and flavorful quick aftertaste of all the aromas
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper, roastiness hits my tongue very nicely; finishes roasty, resinous and a little bit of hop bite
Overall: an extremely nice black IPA and would probably stand up with the top tier black IPA's!

16 oz. Can. Flavor shows mild herb and citrus with a hint of charred grain. Bitterness is moderate. Respectable body and texture. Very subtle pine. No resin. Drinks well. Overall, as it should be.

Can (3/10/25) from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Opaque dark brown, light sparkle, lots of light floaties, thin head with fair retention and soapy lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, coffee, pine, hints of dark chocolate. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and roasted bitter finish. Good strength to aroma and taste. Rich, roasted goodness but hops are a little underrepresented.
