Appearance is black, with a small tan fizzy head. Aroma- lots of coffee, chocolate, brownie, nutty malt, hints of vanilla, almond, more coffee, tonka. Taste is thick dark chocolate, fudge cake, espresso, tonka hints, nutty malt, toast malt, toasty and sweet chocolatey finish.

Canned 440ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Iznogud, thanks. Pitch black coloured, small brownish head, coffee and light tonka in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and tonka with light alcohol and touch of vanilla in the finish.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Viscous black, no head. Aroma of coffee, custard and tonka. Extremely sweet with full body and sticky mouthfeel. Syrup, almonds, soy sauce and custard, some coffee, Sticky, achingly sweet finish. A complete waste of expensive ingredients.

Keg at Cloudwater taproom, Bermondsey, London. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Rich, sweet, roasty, malty, chocolate, caramel, vanilla action. Lovely boozy imperial stout.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A jet black brown coloured pour with a a fading dark tan head. Aroma is cinnamon bun, brown sugars, sticky bun, spicy, alcohol,. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, brown sugars, spicy, cinnamon, bun, sticky, layered brown sugars,. Palate is medium sweet, sticky, warming alcohol. Tonka bean. Nice.

Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a rising boost.
Solid sipper.
