Draft at the brewpub. Murky amber color. big dense ricky off white head. Aroma’s of sweet fruit, fruit candies, wood, tannines. Retronasal wood and tannines upfront, with some sweet fruit. .flavor is moderate sweet, fruity, woody. Becomes more woody and less sweet after a while. Medium bodied. Finishes with tannines, light sourish, light bitter. Actually somewhat reminiscent of some of the La Trappe oak aged versions.
