Turbodog® is a dark brown ale brewed with pale, caramel, and chocolate malts and Willamette hops. This combination gives Turbodog® its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate, toffee-like flavor. Turbodog® began as a specialty ale, but has gained a huge, loyal following and has become one of our flagship brews. This ale pairs well with most meats and is great served with hamburgers or sausages. It is a good match with smoked fish and can even stand up to wild-game dishes. Turbodog® is also great for marinating and braising meats and cooking such things as cabbage and greens. Colby, Gloucester, Cheddar and blue cheeses go nicely with Turbodog®. It’s perfect with spicy Louisiana jambalaya or Spanish paella. Some even like it paired with chocolate!

12 fl.oz bottle. Pours very dark reddish brown color with a mid-sized creamy good lasting beige head. aroma of red fruits, dark malt, mild hops and molasses. Taste of dark malt, nuts, some coffee, red fruits and molasses, good!

12 ounce bottle. Rating number 1234. Pours a dark mahogany brown color. Large rocky beige head. Toasted malt nose has earthy nutty overtones. Sweet toasted malt flavor has toffee, chocolate and nutty notes. Bittersweet hoppy finish. 1, 2, 3, 4, can I have a little more... 5, 6, 7, 8,9 10 I love you!

Bottle. A- Malty, subtle toffee, caramel, subtle brown sugar, weak. A- Brown color, dark liquid, light brown head. T- Watery, malty, subtle caramel. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- For a brown ale it was fair enough. A bit watery but alright. Not much to say about it.

(Bottle) Very dark brown with nice dense tan head. Pleasant aroma - black treacle, prunes, toast. Medium body with plentiful very fine carbonation giving soft creamy texture. Pleasant taste - dark toffee and raisins at the start, thins out a lot in the mid palate and some black coffee / burnt toast bitter notes emerge for the finish. Pleasant enough, not exceptional, but then again it’s a brown ale.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a fairly dark brown with beige head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is of roasted malt. Taste is again roasted malt, with very slight bitterness. Seems a bit watered down for a brown ale.

From bottle: Very dark brown in appearance. Surprisingly thin mouthfeel. Curious combination of malts and hops. Is almost like a black IPA. I’d like more chocolate notes.

Bottle, 355 ml at O’hara, Zagreb. Shared with JFK10000. Pours dark brown with beige head. Malty, milk chocolate, very drinkable. Light sweetish, bit watery. Nothing spectacular, but really liked the drinkability, would be nice as everyday beer.

At Pivoteka. Dark brown body, slightly tinged with amber with a big, thick off white head. Gusher too. Raisins in the aroma. Taste... Raisins, slightly watery, diluted... sticky raisin water with light roast basically.
