Tostados y licorosos. Buena densidad. Bastante buena para repetir.

Can. Black pour. Aroma of malt, iron, booze and licorice. Oh oh. Taste has strong brandy, red grape, licorice, chocolate, caramel, cardboard and some iron. Seems oxidised, a shame really, the brandy flavor appears to be nice.

0.33 l can from 'Bierloods22', best before July 2022. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, rather roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, some licorice and traces of vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, fairly roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and a touch of brandy, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter, gently earthy-dry finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very pleasant sipper with untypically subtle barrel-aging.

Can. Deep dark brown color. Oak, brandy, raisin, soft roast and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet, caramelly flavor with soft roast, brandy, raisin, vanilla and oak. Warming alcohol.

Damn sweet, but that was to be expected with brandy on this base. Unfortunately some of the porter seems to be gone, no more sticky bbq scratchings. Little bit of green apple solvent, some bitterness in the back. Lucky I like sweet.

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of sweet cognac notes. Also bittersweet malts, caramel and apple syrup. Rich texture.
