Clear black beer, small aery irregular off-white to beige head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: calvados, sweet, lots of dark chocolate, bit sweetish impression, caramel, lovely stuff! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice roast, lots of alcohol, some coffee, malty, bit sweet, lots of chocolate, bit sourish. Aftertaste: alcohol, lots of brandy, nice roast, bitter touch, caramel, lots of chocolate, slightly oxidized, sweet touch, lovely beer!

Opaque. Almost black. Small beige head. Aroma: roasted malts, chocolate, nuts, vodka-like alcohol, distant barrel. Medium to full body. Taste: relatively dry, dark malts, chocolate, coffee, hop, light barrel. Light to medium bitterness. Quite good.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black, tan foam. Chocolate, brandy, vanilla, caramel, some apple (acetaldehyde), sweet, alcohol, full-bodied.

33cl can. A almost black beer with a beige head. Aroma of bourbon and caramelized malt. Taste of caramelized malt, Bourbon, slightly boozy.

Intensiv malziger, zimtig röstiger Beginn. Das dunkle Malz bleibt intensiv, geringe passende Süße, geringe Karbonisierung. Würzig malzig-herb, langer, etwas schokoladiger Abgang. 10/9/11/11/9/11

Can at home from Sterk, Amsterdam, 20th October 19. Pours black. Aroma is booze, raisins, grapes, barrel, wet wood. Taste is light caramel, wet wood, sweet, grape and dark fruit. Delicious.

Smooth texture, medium body. Chocolate, ash, smoke, brandy, dark cherries, oak. Good stuff, one of the better Kees experiments.

Can @ home. Black colour, brown foam. Roasty with hints of caramel, dried fruit, brandy, some vanilla. Rather sweet, some roasty bitterness. Good.
