With 100% Motueka hops and 100% Lager malt. Low fermentation, conditioned for several weeks. You may hear people refer to this beer as "the classic", or "the most normal". But none of these labels do Medes Pils justice.

Medes Pils is an outstanding beer, well balanced, very easy to drink and with the appeal expected of any decent Pilsner. The hops are present but not overpowering and the malt character is delicate and refined. Crisp and refreshing with a dry finish.

Unlike many industrial lagers, this beer contains no corn or corn syrup, no rice, no malt extract, no artificial preservatives or flavor enhancers.

Note: original batch of 2023 was also 100% Motueka before a recipe change in 2024 with two hops. In 2025, the recipe went back to single hop Motueka.
