Bottle from Kappldav123, thanks! Amber color. Malty, bready aroma, with berry cake. Malty sweet, flowery flavor with a hint of red berries. Soft hopbitter finish. Too sweet, but this märzen is not unpleasant.

Bottle. It pours a clear, amber body, topped by a small, off-white head. Rather unclean aroma with cooked vegetables and some butterscotch. Cereals and a touch of fruityness too. Slightly roasted flavor, mostly grainy, with some cooked vegetables and butterscotch in the background. Medium body. Some bitterness in the finish, along with caramel and some roasted malts. Sure, I had no problems finishing it, but I’m not up for a revisit. (090228)

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Looks really almost red. Starts very spicy, strong, the finish is weaker, a bit metallically, still spicy. Really a good one!
