Bottle (many thanks to Allen!): Hazy to cloudy, amber coloured, slowly collapsing fluffy white head; sourish-fruity nose with traces of cacao-beans; sweet-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 6.6%; caramelly and sourish-fruity finish. No doubt, a bit over the top.......

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, amber colour with a short off-white frothy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with distinctive notes of cacao and traces of honey. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Cara-malty, slightly yeasty and subtle fruity taste with notes of cacao; finishes moderately sweet and slightly bitter yeasty with a tinge of hops and cacao. Okay. 16.XI.09

Bottle, kindly provided by Allen. Hazy red gold, big golden cream - which may be the loudest foam I have ever experienced on a beer. Fruity sweet base, apples, pears. Citric notes, the flavor cant quite keep the promise. Medium to light body, sparkly mouthfeel. Not exactly bocklike chewyness. Fresh, slightly too quick and neutral finish.

The bottle looks simple, but good. Orange-yellow, midest turbid. Starts mild, no hints of alcohol, spicy-sweet. Finish is malty and creamy. Good beer! Thanks Allen for the bottle!

Bottel from Allen, thanks! Amber color, hazy. Lovely aroma. Milk chocolate, like chocolate ice from ice maker Van der Poel in Hengelo and some papaya. Sweet flavor with chocolate milk, some flowers, orange and papaya. Soft hopbitter aftertaste. I really can’t see this beer as a bock, but the flavor is quite nice.
