Can bought at the brewery. Hazy dark gold. Thick foamy white head. Aroma is fruity with a resinous edge. Underlying bready malts and later a pop of spice. The brewer did mention that this has West Coast elements, not hinted at by the details on the can, and the resin and fruit bitterness are stronger than the aroma perhaps suggested. Still there is also a juicy tropical core. Some malty hints but this time less prevalent than the aroma suggested. Light-medium bodied. Slick..Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent. Certainly more hoppy and resinous than some of of their Surrey peers can manage.
