Vapourwaves is a rotating series of Hazy Double IPAs showcasing a specific hop. Intensely hopped at over 8 lbs. per barrel, we wanted to explore the flavor and aroma impacts certain individual hops have on a soft and creamy NEDIPA. In this version, we chose Amarillo.

Brewery draught 5/26/25.
Heavy haze. Bronze-maize-golden. Small, white head.
Spicy, not that woody or piney. Light citrus juice with honey and white bread-like malts balancing easily.
Soft, very malty. Chewy and supple with spicy, lightly citrusy, gently piney hop. Wow, this is like Amarillo from 2007. Which is when it was at it's best, I think. Just all the interesting spice, good bitterness and more of a rounded, less acidic, woody character. Lingering papaya, unripe guava, kumquat and more deep spice. No onion, of course. No resin or astringent wood or chalk.
