Green Horse is a widespread and historic pear variety from Gloucestershire that is now under threat from fireblight, which forced us to pollard our trees. These pears came from Saycell’s Farm in Kempley, where beautiful ancient trees still stand. Zingy, tart, kiwi and lime, with a delicious crisp texture. 500ml. 5.8%.

500ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. For #rgpm. Hazy pale yellow colour, white foam head that retains and aroma of perry pear, floral, citrus, funk. Taste is tart, zippy, fleshy, perry peary, mineral notes, kiwi fruit, alittle funk, with lemon-lime citric acidity and slight tannin hint. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry peary lemony-lime acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.
