Family Vines is a series of beers in which grapes from the Thrall Family vineyard are incorporated into the fermentation or aging process in a variety of ways. For Family Vines 2, we co-fermented freshly pressed juice from 2020 harvest Reisling grapes which was co-fermented with a table beer made from Northeastern grown Endeavor barley. The result is an extremely dry, yet bodied beer with a delicate stone fruit and mineralogy.

750mL bottle drunk 5/26/25.
Soft, brassy-to-pale-golden. Small, white head. Good clarity.
Grape doesn't jump out at you and there's good mineral and gently tart acids. Oak is neutral and balancing, with rustic grains of seemingly high attenuation. Very mellow, well-homogenized.
Similar in the flavor. Mellow, round, nothing jumping out or dominating, and no big acidity. But still pleasingly tart with light Riesling qualities and chewy, rustic grains. Dry.
