Fortunate Islands combines the bangin' hop aroma of an über-tropical IPA with the crisp, deeply quenching drinkability of a killer pale ale. We achieve this magical result by starting with a mild, nutty malt backbone, then dry-hopping the bejesus out of it with Citra and Amarillo hops. Restrained bitterness and vibrant notes of mango, tangerine, and passionfruit combine to form a sessionable crusher of mind-bending proportions. It tastes like wizards.

Can at Bishops Arms Gamla Stan. Pours clear gold with very small white head. Aroma is huge orange peel/citrus notes, with some wheat, faint spice, and some floral notes. Flavor is citrusy with a dry malty base and some peach and mango. Quite light and quite low carbonation.

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a clear deep gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has notes of grapefruit and bitter citrus with sweet wheat and a hint of tropical fruits. Flavor starts with citrus and sweet wheat but has more of a tropical fruit finish.

Hazy golden color (as far as it is possible to in the dark dungeon) with a fine white head. Citric, wheat and fruity aroma. Inviting stuff. Ok carbonation and a fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, wheat, herbal and tropical flavor. Nice tasty ale.

Draught @ 3 Små Rum during RBScSG. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white head that leaves some parse trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and grassy with wheat crackers, grapefruit juice, pineapple, mango, moist grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is tiny bitter, fruity and grassy. Mouthfeel is soft, tiny astringent, tiny watery and light bodied. Finish tiny bitter with wheat crackers, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Nicely fruity and refreshing. Has suffered some during the way here but still holds up.

From can to pint glass. Wonderful dense aroma of tropical fruits, mango and star fruit. Pours crystal clear pale gold with moderate low white head and minimal retention. Flavor is tropical and a moderate amount of juicy fruit. Moderate bittering and a dry finish. Lemon lingers late.

16oz can straight from the can on the train home. Great citrus and pineapple aromas on the nose with a touch of wheat present. As it warms up the citrus gets stronger but never overwhelming. Some banana notes as well. Great light to medium body with average carbonation. Slightly sweet on the palate with nice bitterness coming after. The finish is dry and bitter. A wheat ale for session IPA heads. Great stuff!
