Fortunate Islands combines the bangin' hop aroma of an über-tropical IPA with the crisp, deeply quenching drinkability of a killer pale ale. We achieve this magical result by starting with a mild, nutty malt backbone, then dry-hopping the bejesus out of it with Citra and Amarillo hops. Restrained bitterness and vibrant notes of mango, tangerine, and passionfruit combine to form a sessionable crusher of mind-bending proportions. It tastes like wizards.

16 oz can poured. Canned on 2/16/17. A cloudy, dark golden pour with a ton of foam head. A very tropical fruit hop dominated aroma, which is very refreshing for a wheat beer. Flavor is a refreshing hop profile, and a dry wheat background. A ton of orange fruit and bittering hops, that lead to an orange peel reminder for me. Overall a well put together beer here. Unique for sure, and extremely enjoyable.

473ml can. Clear golden colour with a creamy smooth white head. Aroma is very hoppy, citrus and tropical fruits, mango, passionfruit, some wheat. Taste also has loads of citrus and tropical fruit hop flavours, the wheaty malt is more in the background, mild sweetness and bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, light-medium body, very easy drinking - highly sessionable. Great beer, basically an IPA with wheat in it.

On tap at abv. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. A big funky fruity nose. The flavor is big resin, oranges, sticky sweet, lemons. Smooth. E Coast ipa style. Solid.

Can from The Bottle Shop Bermondsey and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Big fresh hoppy aroma. Rather amazing really. Big hoppy aroma. Some sweetish pale malt in the mouth. There is enough to act as a backbone for big hoppy aroma and bitter finish. Some tropical fruit. Rather good i thought.

0,473l can at home. Canned 08/18/2016. yellow clear color, small white head. smells of lemon grass, tobacco, light bready notes, some exotic fruits. overall quite nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes breadish, lightly citric, bit grassy, light pines, hints of exotic fruits, some lemon grass. finishes lightly bitter with notes of lemon grass, pines and light citrus notes. good one, quite light and probably a bit more hoppy / fruity when fresh, but I love how easy this one is to drink. good stuff.
