Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 29B: lime, lemongrass / base: 24A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 261 (BB: 010626). AROMA: medium-high citrus aroma (lemon) with a medium to medium-low wheat malt background. APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and clear. medium-low white head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low lemony flavor followed by low wheat notes that get overwhelmed by medium-high yeast flavor (uncooked bread). medium bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish with a prevalent yeast aftertaste. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: although the appearance is a clear beer, the flavor has a yeast flavor that distracts. good aroma though.
