5oz stemless pour @Turning Point. Frothy, hazy, dark amber pour. More Cheerio than banana on the nose. Nothing special. Simple & subtle. Mellow upfront sweetness, like milk-dipped brown bread. Very faint roast. Some burnt brown sugar/candi. A little metal. Quick hitting classic phenols are gone in a flash, leaving a basic Newcastle behind with some lightly burnt plant material bitterness. Too thin, but bubbly & still drinks good.
