Holiday Bash is a North Carolina winter warmer. Comes in various labels & ABV will range from 6-8%. Its brewed with traditional fall spices, making it the perfect beer for Fall & Winter holidays, starting with Halloween and ending after New Year! Its deeply complex with notes of vanilla, pumpkin pie, oranges, hazelnuts, toast, and chocolate. Butternut squash adds a sharper festive note and helps to bring the pumpkin to the front of the palate.

My can has a different label. Its snowflakes on white with red cursive writing. I'll never get used to these holiday spiced brews, that's why it sat in my fridge for 6 months. I pick em up if their cheap just for a numerical tick towards 10K. Nose is nice but its a warning of the highly spiced brew within. Pour is somewhat murky and the color of rootbeer. First taste is as expected; a volatile mess of various holiday spices, blah, just like most other of these straight up ass domestic holiday brews. Rarely do I find one that's even slightly balanced or acceptable to my poor pissed off palate. In the middle its getting difficult to take. Almost flat and mouth coating, whew. Not one to waste any beer with a drain pour, I'll keep drinkin to the crappy end and at least hope I catch a little buzz of this spiced up bomb. Just maybe it will make this tick worth my while.

$2 single from Trader Joe's. Mojito glass @home. Dark maroon & murky pour; middling head. Dark carob roast, a little coffee, no spice on the initial nose. Toasty crust, burnt brown sugar, hazelnut, sharp & lingering vanilla, mellow; Diluted spices. Murky, low carb, stout-y texture, booze-y enough. Boring if decent winter warmer.
