Bottled at Porterfestivalen 2017, October 18.Black color, small tan head. Wood, alcohol scent. Sweet, ash, charcoal taste. Ash aftertaste. Warming alcohol. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium to medium high bitterness.2/4/4/3/8=2.2

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a dense, light brown head. Surprisingly subdued aroma, some discreet roast, licorice and molasses. Rich body, harsh roastiness getting rather charred and ashy. Malt bitter finish. A very rough experience, but a solid old school Imperial Stout. 040118

Sampled @ 10th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg, Day 2. Opaque black color small light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, roast, lightly iron, malt bitter, bitter. Medium body, decent to medium carbonation. Solid RIS.

8 4 8 3 16 Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering ’17. Black with a small brown head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, caramel, molasses, coffee. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled @ The Tenth Official Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2017, Day 2. A opaque black beer with a small tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, sweet coffee and liquorice. Taste of liquorice, dark roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, a bit oxidized.

Draught @ Cafe Albert, Aarhus. Pours black with a brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruits, licorice. Flavor is sweet and light bitter, rich malty, dark chocolate, dark fruits, riasin, heavy licorice. Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with light warming alcohol. Bit to heavy on the licorice for me. 030317

Black with a brown head - Roasted malt aroma with some coffee notes - Malt body with some coffee with some bitterness - The malt and coffee flavours goes into the finish with bitternes - This was real good

[ As Fanø Canute The Great ].Clear dark brown color with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, a touch of light toffee - butterscotch - sweet raisin - sweet dark fruit - brown sugera - caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, a note of caramel - toffee - raisin - brown sugar.
