Our collaboration with James Beard Award-winning Chef Chintan Pandya of Unapologetic Foods NYC (Dhamaka, Semma, Adda, Rowdy Rooster). This cider is made with Alphonso mango puree from Gujarat, India the home region of Chef Chintan and Soham our co-founder/head cidermaker. We explore the idea of varietal flavor along with seasonal apples to show that concepts of terroir expand beyond the traditional sense of the word. “Jalsa” means celebration in Hindi and we hope to toast this cider with you at all of your holiday gatherings.

Single from the Brew Shop in Arlington. Pint glass at home. Hazy, still, drab, pale orange, quick soda fizz. Veggie, fennel-y nose. Bittersharp, very phenolic apple juice. Chem burn. Dusty with noticeable clove. Mild apple sauce & light mango puree sweetness. Plastic & veg. Half flat, a bit yeasty, whatever abv. They've never made a good cider.
