The Dabinett apple is a famous English apple used exclusively for cider making, not for fresh eating. Dabinett's flavor profile is bolder than most with big tannins, evoking dark chocolate, English breakfast tea, plums, burnt caramel and baked apple character. It is rich, thick and golden. This cider is made from 85% Dabinett, 10% Snowdrift Crabapple, and 5% Manchurian Crabapple - all grown at CiderView Orchard, in Washington State. This cider is semi-dry. Bottled in 2019 using fruit grown in the 2018 harvest season.

Clear, honey gold, very active pour at their tasting room. Earthy, honeyed, minerally, slight barnyard nose. Bittersweet, strong earth, buttery, well water, oily leather, bitter greens, moderate funk, popsicle stick finish. No tartness, a bit of measurable acid. Very on point.
