Freedom’s Edge flagship blend. In a category full of acidic dry and cloying sweet, our goal here was balance: Tannic structure, bright acidity, beautiful aromatics. Achieved by blending tannic bittersweets with aromatic and acid forward dessert fruit, and back sweetening to the cusp of dry/off-dry.

Single from 2 feet brewery. Pint glass at home a few weeks later. Quiet, pale gold pour. Barely any bubbles. Sweet honey nose. Slightly stuffy & mouse-y. Taste is veggie, bittersharp apples. Thin, caramelized, wood pith, extra sharp, a bit of savory, yeast popsicle stick bitter finish. A little industrial. Off-dry, thin, very sulfite-y, boozy, harsh. Good intentions.
