Tasting at Oakes' Manor, crowler
Brown colour. The spices are prominent, but it ends up being quite balanced, spice cake, moderately sweet, caramel.
Good.

Crowler - Smoke and light manure with pumpkin spice. Deep dark Amber with a small light brown head. Smoke up front and the pumpkin with a finish.

Crowler, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out the smoke and earthy pumpkin upfront, with pumpkin puree, and some toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of pumpkin puree upfront, with a touch of smoke, and light bready malt. Really nice pumpkin puree character. Good stuff.

Medium brown, thin head. On the nose, there's a lot of pumpkin on it. On the palate, also quite a bit of pumpkin. Not much smoke. Some brown sugar malts on the back, but then the pumpkin coming in over top. Actually quite nice as a pumpkin porter.

Draft at the source. Dark brown color light beige head. Aroma has smoke up front, roasty cocoa, spice in the background. Taste is lightly smoky spice and roast, comes together nicely. Nice way to disguise a smoke beer since locals here won't try them
