Our nod to a true marathoner of the skies, the magnificent frigate and to our sister island Barbuda which is home to one of the largest frigate colonies in the world. The amber ale has a nice round flavour, with a perfect balance of maltiness and hops that makes it a classic session beer. The top-fermenting process brings out subtle fruit overtones due to the hops that nicely contrast the toasted malt notes of this very drinkable beer.

Bottle shared at the Suffolk RateBeer gathering: Gushed all over the place. Poured an orange with off white head. Aroma is weird and off-putting. Taste was horrible infected malts and earthiness.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, thanks Graham! Hazy amber colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of malt, hop. Taste is malt, grainy, with tangy earthy woody hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. OK

Excellent white foam on a brownish amber body, strong hops on the nose with malt hints. Flavour is soft malt, mellow, and refreshing which works well in this Antigua heat. That said, it is pretty subtle and could use more character.
