Very dark near black in color. Light in body with delicate flavors of brown bread, bakers’ chocolate, and lightly toasted caramel. This a crushable dark beer is perfect for the changing of the seasons.

Brewery draught, 6/4/25.
Clear dark amber-to-dark copper. Small, beige head.
Coffee-like dark malt with chocolate and light white bread sweetness. Trying to find the yeast but I can't. Just getting malt, but at least it's balanced and clean.
Good base malt giving a solid foundation and plentiful sweet bread. Mild chocolate, nuts and earth linger long. Good balance but can't figure and the yeast in flavor either. Not surprised as kolsch yeast is a very delicate flavor. Which is why it's a very light beer, traditionally.
