Inspired by a local delicacy, this sweet treat features the enticing combination of ripe, juicy cherry and flavours of frangipane, finished off with creamy vanilla. Exceedingly good.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Sits black. Decent beige foam is sturdy lasting and semi lacing. Looks boss. Nose has almond macaron. Cherry purée. Cherry liqueur chocolate. Bit of a chocolate ice cream thing. Also some beery notes of dark roast malt. Taste is not as sweet as you might expect with a decent roast malt bitterness throughout. Bit of a fruity twang. Good body overall. Moderate bitterness to finish. Why can’t Abbeydale make all their beer to this standard?

Cherry and vanilla, smooth and sweet with a little roast in the finish.
