(Thanks, Jeremy! JStax) Can. A- Overripe pear and apple, ginger, A- Gold color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Pear, clove, nutmeg, ginger, lemon zest, mild black pepper, straw. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- No idea what all spices are in here but I like it. Gingers seems to be the strongest. Not a traditional wit but does that always matter? Lots of spices and herbal notes going on but good.

12 ounce can into pint glass, best before 9/25/2017. Pours moderate hazy/cloudy pale golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, orange zest, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander, peppercorn, clove, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange zest, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander, peppercorn, clove, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness, herbal/grassy bitterness; and light wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange zest, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander, peppercorn, clove, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.3%; touch of increasing ginger spice heat through the glass. Overall this is a very good witbier. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very well balanced spices, yeast, malts. Nothing overpowering or feels out of place. A very unique and enjoyable offering. Nice style example, even with the unique spice profile.

Sample at the taproom. Hazy yellow-orange color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lace. Aroma of wheat, spice and fruit. Light body with flavors of herbal wheat, spice and citrus. The finish is wheaty with a mildly spicy aftertaste. Decent overall.
