330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Nutty, roasty and sweet-ish, chocolately, dark and caramel malty aroma, hints of tosted nuts, dark caramel, whiffs of liquorice. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty, minimally spicy, dark malty, hints of dark caramel, burnt caramel, some coffee, a touch of liquorice.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Rather on the light side of Impy Stouts, not overly complex - solid.

0.33 l bottle from 'Homberg's große Bierwelt', best before March 2026. Black with a medium large, frothy, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of hazelnut, cocoa, coffee and some vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty-bitter taste of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and some vanilla, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty, but a bit on the sweet side.
