Sorte Penge - a Black IPA so dark it makes the tax minister break out in a cold sweat. Deep roasted notes and a hoppy edge make it black as oil and just as valuable. A beer for those who know that the best things in life are rarely on account. Perfect for the workshop's black side projects - and for tasting some illegally good brewing! Cheers to chaos and cash! Hand-brewed beer

Can 44 c. Pours an opaque black with a rich, frothy and lacing beige head. Nose has a roasty touch, but there's also a disturbing off-note, tart kinda. Surprisingly light body, almost thin. Sweet roast and chocolate, but luckily the off aroma note was not an indication of infection as the beer has no tartness. Subdued bitterness. 130825
