Can at Level One during the Southern Tier brewery feature on 10/07/2018. The beer is a slightly hazy copper-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Ever so slightly hazy copper coloured body with a thicker, three centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of citrus, oranges, light resin, a good deal of caster sugar and some assertive pine notes as well. Medium-bodied; Super strong citrusey, floral and especially orange-y (more candied/curacao) notes that show a ton of dryness with a herbal quality that shows some tropical fruit notes and a dash of white pepper towards the end as well. Aftertaste shows the citrus, curacao, guava, bunches of mangoes and a good deal of the lactose and fructose as well tucked in to make the alcohol escalate in a slightly 'produced' manner that adds to the astringency of this one. Overall, a good IPA that shows tons of fruit notes, but a bit too 'created' and pungent for what it should be and if this would have been at 7,0%, it would have been much more solid throughout. Nice to try, but not worth searching out, by any means. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-September-2018 for US$3,69 sampled at home in Washington on 01-November-2018.

Pint can, Market Street Wine. Pours clear golden with a soft off-white head. Aroma is mango, pine, orange, citrus peel. Flavor is tangy spruce tips, mango, orange peel, lactose, light rubber or bandaid. Something a bit off about the flavor. Not really digging it.

On tap at Clouds, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out some hop resins, earthy notes and biscuity. Flavour is on the sweeter side, with hoppy resins and caramel malt. Somewhat spicy too, but I suspect it is unintentional. Not bad.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/10/2018. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy mangoes, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, orange, lemon, passion fruit, papaya, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, cracker, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, mangoes, lactose, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy mangoes, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, orange, lemon, passion fruit, papaya, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, cracker, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness; and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of mangoes, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, orange, lemon, passion fruit, papaya, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn/pine, vanilla, cream, cracker, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, mangoes, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very smooth, creamy/bready, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Mildly increasing warmth of 8.5% after the finish. Overall this is an awesome fruited milkshake IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, mangoes, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Not as soft as I expected, but really well done. Feels like Mosaic, Ekuanot, and Galaxy. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hops/fruit; nice bready malt/lactose balance, not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering as expected. Was not hazy at all as claimed.
