Train beer cheers to Fergus. Inky. Foamy beige head sticks to the rim. Aroma is boozy, with sweet chocolate and vanilla. Flavourwise it has dark chocolate with a fruity streak and more dark fruit. Light-medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Rather sweet but rather good too.

Can on the 1930 Southampton - Waterloo, thanks to Fergus, South Coast Jolly Boys Day Out 20/09/2025.
Black topped with a khaki head.
Nose is chocolate, roast malts, molasses, spice, dark fruit rinds, charr.
Taste comprises toasted brown sugars, chocolate pot, roasted bite, toffee fudge, faint coffee bean.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost.
Tidy enough sipper with more of an old skool lean for me than full on pastry.

On tap at Fuggles Cafe Tonbridge. Black beer lasting tan head. Big intense dark chocolate aroma. It's more my kinda impy stout. Straight up solid dark chocolate flavour. Some espresso coffee flavour. Some dryness on finish. No heat. Yep pretty good. I liked it. Like chocolate moose in liquid alcohol form. Tasty.
