Our 10 grain base stout was amplified to bring it up to 5.5% with additions of maltodextrin to add creaminess and Colombian coffee beans from local roasters Stewarts of Trent Bridge to bring dark roasted chocolate, coffee and hazelnuts in this coffee latte inspired stout.

Draught keg at the brewery tap, Sutton-in-Ashfield. Dark brown, opaque with a big but quickly dissipating khaki head. Massive coffee aroma with floral and liquorice characters. Some earth and a little hit of tobacco. Complex taste, bittersweet with flashes of umami. Getting coffee, molasses, lavender. Medium body and carbonation. A little strange but still nice.
