Brewed in collaboration with our friends from Castle Rock, Slate is a rich and satisfying stout inspired by the rugged beauty of the Lake District. Crafted with a complex malt grist, it reveals layered notes of dark chocolate, ripe dates, and subtle bramble offering depth and character in every sip.

Keg at Gravity 2025 Saturday. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate and dark fruit. Taste is more of the same. Light roast finish. One of only a handful of dark beer on. Nice.

I've never had any 'Slate' in any pub I've often frequented, it's just a television myth to me. This Slate is no myth, a carbonated first, sweet dark malty stout, nothing particularly roasted here beyond a hint in aroma.
