Exoplanet is a quarterly series purpose-built to highlight single-origin coffees from Budapest's own Bagira Coffee.
The foundation is a cleaner, softer stout which lets our coffee selections shine through: a bold dark malt baseline tempered with tons of silky oat body and a touch of lactose.
San Ignacio hails from several nano-scale producers within Peru's Cajamarca region, where high altitudes, fertile volcanic soil, and tropical rains create perfect growing conditions. Here, small farmers prioritize quality and sustainability, handpicking the beans before gently wash-processing and fermenting them. Bagira's light roast perfectly accentuates this bean’s delicate notes of freshly-baked brownies, blueberry jam, and plum compote.

Draft at the Gravity Brewing taproom, Budapest. Poured almost black in colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is super dry, ashtray, roasty. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, dry, spicy coffee, light peaty, earthy, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Gravity Budapest. On nitro. Black coloured, medium sized creamy beige head, ground coffee in the nose. Ground coffee, light chocolate, touch of roast and bitterish roasty finish.
