Nerdy bits:
Thick as we could mash. Very slowly transferred to the kettle with a small sparge. Hopped with a huge dollop of Citra in the hot-side at 10g/L chilled whirlpool. Dip-hopped with Citra Dynaboost and Citra Cryo at a further 10g/L. Fermented in an unsurprisingly vigorous fashion. Chilled post-fermentation and dry-hopped with another 20g/L Citra T90 and Citra Cryo. What a good way to burn through all our earnings.
Hops: Citra, Citra, Citra, Citra, Citra, Citra, Citra, Citra
Grains: Heidelberg, Wheat Malt, Wheat Torrefied, Oat Malt, Chit Malt, Dextrin Malt
Yeast: WHC Saturated
Water: Ca 72, Mg 4, CI - 320, SO42 - 41, K 124

Keg at St Albans Beer & Cider Festival, St Albans, Herts. A hazy golden orange coloured pour with a decent off white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange, mango, tropical fruit action. Really nice rich tasting TIPA.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 26/06/2025.
Murky deep orange to light amber topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange wine gums, pine nibble, mango, grapefruit, mandarin.
Taste comprises orange pith, creamy malts, mandarin, mango flesh, papaya, pine resin.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness allied to a mellow boost.
Tidy TIPA if running a little sweet at times.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft rich pale malts, a nice depth and of flavour here, grain and malt cream in good harmony. Soft cooling pine into almost vodka and orange hop vibe. No alcohol heat or spice buy I can taste it. Decent smooth orange hops, not really getting anything else from the evidently abundant Citra, a disappointment in that dept. In summary, a very drinkable TIPA but was hoping for a lot more from Citra, especially given the amount that was used.
