Cask at Ealing Beer Fest 25. Dark and glossy. Foamy tan head. Aroma is sweet - icing sugar and latte. Flavourwise we have initial sour berries and espresso. Followed be chunky malts. Medium bodied. Verging on oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent if overly sweet.

Cask at Cellar, Chester. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small foamy beige head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly chocolate but with some added cheesecake. In the mouth it is sweet and smooth with a creamy textue. Roasted malts and chocolate dominate the flavour with traces of cake, dark fruit and nuts. Finish is dry and malty. This is rather nice – not overwhelmed by the chocolate.
