A twist on the classic farm workers drink.

Apple pulp rehydrated and left. Pressed onto Pinot Noir and Meunier grape pulp for a second fermentation. Grape juice added at bottling to up the alcohol, provide body and create a natural fizz.

Fruity, smashable.

A labourious experiment creating something different and exhilarating. Bound to cause friction with purists.

750ml bottle from Wolds Wine. Red colour, white foam head and aroma of grape, apple, pulp, fruit. Taste is tart & fruity, grapes, appley, some spicy notes, funk hints, with drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
