Dark brown, nitro head. Chocolate aroma, lightish, a bit chocolatey. Off-dry.

On nitro at SYC, pours a red-tinged dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma reminds me more of an oyster or dry stout, with dry toasted malt and some earthiness. Flavour is sweeter than expected, with cocoa, sugars, and earthy roast. Smooth and drinkable but nothing special.

On tap at the brewery. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Roasted malts and cocoa on the nose. Flavour has clean roasted malts, cocoa. Decent body. Not bad.

Roast and a little coffee. Black pour with decent head. Light bitter end. Some caramel. Nitro at brewery.
