Brune foncée, col épais crémeux mais proposant de très fines bulles en sa surface.
Arôme sur un bouquet délicat - chocolaté / pâle, finement biscuité toasté avec une petite touche d'anis. Graines torréfiées tout en ayant une finalité terreuse et florale du houblon.
Palais est assez sympa avec ce bon caractère de stout nitro - cela procure une effervescence faiblarde ais avec une certaine onctuosité en bouche. Ici, le tout berce sur le chocolaté et l'espresso avec un effet de ganache café noisette. Léger support de fruits noirs avec un houblonné franc entre fleuri et terreux.

Appearance is nearly black, with a thick creamy light brown head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate, roast malt, nutty notes, milk chocolate. Taste is nutty roasty malt, smooth chocolate, hint of liquorice and a bit of dark fruit, toffee and toasty malt. Roasty bitter finish, bit of sweetness in the background though.

Keg at Cloudwater taproom, Bermondsey, London. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, dark chocolate, coffee action. Quite sweet, decent enough stout.

Black with a lasting khaki cap that forms a swirl over time.
Nose is mellow roast, charr, dark chocolate, ashen nip.
Taste comprises dark malts, light spice, ashen bite, charr, cocoa sprinkle.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Decent enough stout.

Pours very dark brown black with a thick dirty tan head. Loads of roast malt, chocolate, coffee, molasses, hint of licorice. Really thick and soft. Really liked this one. Cracking stout.

Cask at Cloudwater. A jet black coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma is earthy roast, dry, earthy roast, charred wood, roast.. Flavour is composed of really dry earthy roast, robust, farmhouse. Charred roast. Paalte is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Good cask condition.
