Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 15B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch LB16618. AROMA: predominant sulphur aroma with a slight wild yeast fermentation note. Very faint roasted malt background. APPEARANCE: dark brown color and hazy with ruby body against light. very large light brown head with medium-low retention. TASTE: predominant roasted malt flavor, almost burnt, with an acidic profile. slight nutty, oat-like flavor. medium-low bitterness from roasted grains with an almost dry and roasted finish that endures. PALATE: meidum-low body with excessive carbonation. OVERALL: a stout with fermentation problems, a bit on the burnt profile side.
