Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 12C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch LD16620. AROMA: predominant sweet fruity aroma with background notes of solvent, mild oxidized hops, cereal husk and diacetil. faint malt background with caramel notes. APPEARANCE: dark amber color and very hazy. average ivory, creamy head with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: initial medium sweet and fruity flavor with a faint caramel-like malt background. moderate cereal husk notes and mild solventy presence. medium bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. cereal husk astringency present as a mild alcohol warmth. OVERALL: an English IPA with fermentation problems and also cereal husk presence and a complete absent hop character (except for the bitterness).
