Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 3A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch LA16611. AROMA: predominant sulphury aroma (rotten eggs) with faint and slight sweet fruity notes. acidic background. APPEARANCE: ambar color and hazy. moderate ivory head with good retention. TASTE: initial slightly sweet fruity note followed by high bitterness (hops and tanninic). neutral malt background. highly bitter, harsh, cereal husk and dry finish. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. high astringency presence. moderate alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a pilsner with fermentation problems and out of style.
