AROMA: slight fruity aroma, marmalade like. slight peppery rye background with faint cereal husk. APPEARANCE: ambar color and clear. large ivory moussy head with good retention. TASTE: cereal flavor with notes of rye, some toffee and faint marmalade and cereal husk. medium bitterness that lasts beyond a dry finish. PALATE: medium to medium-full body with a pulverulent texture from rye. medium-high carbonation. OVERALL: an amber ale with rye, from a style with alternative fermentables that isnt very complex.
