Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 33B: rum barrel / 30A: cocoa, peppers - Base: 20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch BCBAR01 (BB: 12/2028). AROMA: medium-high wet spirit barrel aroma with slight sourness. very faint cocoa background. APPEARANCE: dark brown color and opaque. low brown head with no retention. unusual beer drops clinged to the glass that dont fall down. TASTE: initial medium-high spirits barrel flavor, wet wood, with a very faint cocoa background. medium bitterness with a dry and sligthly roasted aftertaste. MOUHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. heat from chillies. strong warming sensation from alcohol. OVERALL: another barrel aged where the base beer almost completely disappeared and with execution problems.
