APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. light brown low head with no retention. bottle inspection reveals 0.5 cm of yeast sediment and bottle neck collar. TASTE: initial medium-high solventy alcohol flavor, followed by medium-low initial sweet chocolate flavor. medium yeast flavor. overall medium bitterness with a semi-dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with slight smoothness. hot sensation. medium-high carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: an imperial stout with too much execution problems.
