Review based on the BJCP 2015 mead guidelines (style M1C - Sweet). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 0813B104 (BBF 08-2023). AROMA: medium-high sweet honey aroma. low woody background. slight lemony notes. APPEARANCE: slightly hazy pale orange color. no carbonation. TASTE: initial medium-high honey notes with medium-low wood, followed by medium-high sweet honey, medium-low tannins and slight lemony note and acidity. finishes almost sweet, balanced by tannins. MOUTHFEEL: medium-full body. no carbonation. OVERALL: an average sweet mead, that fermented on oak barrels.
