Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 2C-adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L420120 (BBF 05/2021). AROMA: medium roasted malt aroma with notes of unsweetened chocolate, slight coffee. faint herbaceous hop background. APPEARANCE: dark amber color with a slight orange tint. brilliant clarity. medium tanned head with medium retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low roasted malt notes (cocoa, slight coffee) and a slight background of roasted barley. faiknt hops (herbaceous). medium to medium-low bitterness with a dry and slightly roasted finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an ok dark lager but with very faint hop notes.
