APPEARANCE: deep amber color and sligtly hazy. medium beige head, creamy, with good retention. leg formation. TASTE: medium malty flavor (bread crust and slight toastiness). medium-low bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish. PALATE: medium to medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an ok doppelbock that would be better with improved flavor notes.
